You
should reserve your photographer as soon as your set a
final date for your wedding. Many brides book their
coverage a year or more in advance. The most popular
months are in spring and fall.

You
can reserve your date with a $350 to $500 (depending
on package) deposit

If
you would like bridal portrait appointments should be
made 6 weeks in advance to allow for a finished portrait
at the reception.

We
did not make the move to digital until we were sure it
was better than film. Since our start in digital
back in 2000 there have been great advances in digital
imaging. Starting in May 2002 we have been film
free for all our photography as our new digital cameras
are producing results better than our medium format film
cameras.
Very
Important Although Richard Bell
Photography uses the latest in photographic technology, the
final images ARE NOT
electronic prints such as you would get from an inkjet
or other electronic printer.
All prints for albums are printed using the
latest imaging technology on Standard
Professional Photographic Paper. This is
the same photographic paper that we have used for many
years with our film photography. What has changed
is the remarkable color fidelity and image enhancement
capabilities we have acquired using professional digital
capture for our original images.
We
Guarantee all finished for life against fading and color
change.

When
we meet with you to discuss your wedding plans we can
provide you with a list of photographs that we
will normally take. You may delete any photographs from
the list that you do not want. Also you may
include family groups, poses and special shots that you
would like. Don't hesitate to make special requests.

We
normally take between 500 and 700 photographs at a
wedding, there is no limit. Our style is a mix of casual
romantic portraiture along with photojournalistic candid
photography. Before the wedding we take candids
and will usually photograph the bride, her parents, maid
of honor, bridesmaids, the groom (usually without the
bride present) his parents, best man, groomsmen and any
family shots that can be taken before the wedding.
Following the wedding we will photograph the bride and
groom together, along with the wedding party, parents,
grandparents and any special family and group shots.
